The Florida State University: Bellamy Building  Renovation

This project was a complete renovation to the seven - story classroom building. It provided all new infrastructure including HVAC, fire sprinklers, ADA improvements, lighting, power, and communication systems. The ground floor of the building’s seven floor tower was completely remodeled into new classrooms including a 100-seat tiered lecture hall. All classrooms were wired for electronic instructional consoles and overhead projectors. GRC provided the initial phasing and sequencing for five construction phases requiring temporary faculty office relocation into the Johnston Building. GRC also provided space planning through user workshops. For the duration of the project, the quantity of available classroom space remained the same meaning that the Registrar’s Office was not required to seek temporary space elsewhere. Exterior hardscaping and landscaping was installed at the end of the project and was sequenced to permit access between Bellamy and Strozier Library
