| GRC was honored to be given the opportunity to redesign the main entrance plaza to Florida State University at the historical Westcott Building. The historical fountain centerpiece of the building's courtyard was maintained, while the ground plane was completely redesigned with brickwork, new lighting, hard scaping, and new landscaping. The fountain's pump system was completely re-engineered and located in a new below grade vault away from vehicular and pedestrian areas. The selected brick pavers are dedication bricks with cut inscriptions and are part of fund raising program by the FSU Foundation. This was a fast paced project which opened the weekend prior to graduation day - just in time for the traditional cap and gown photos for the graduates. | ||
